哈岗 (HACIENDA HEIGHTS)
哈岗位于加州洛杉矶郡内，圣加布里埃尔山谷的 Puente Hills 山脚下，是一个尚未成立市级行政建制的社区，被美国人口普查局划分为独立的普查分区。根据美国2010年人口普查，哈岗总人口为54,038，人口密度为每平方公里1865.8人，其中白人占40.5%，亚裔人占37.1%。
哈岗原是一座农业小镇。始于20世纪40年代，50年代开始加速的大都市城郊居民区发展潮流，使哈岗变成一个大都市旁的居民住宅区，或者说是“卧室社区”。1961年，洛杉矶郡公共图书馆哈岗分馆成立了，同年，该区域被命名为哈岗。1964年，当地的报纸——Hacienda Heights Highlander 成立。哈岗的大部分区域被开发成城郊独立屋，吸引了很多年轻、富裕和受过高等教育的家庭到这里来居住。
哈岗是华人城市东区的第一站，所以在地理位置上，距离西区不远。所以在东区和西区之间，它拥有地理之便。哈岗的房子比较多，大多是上世纪60年代和70年代建的房子，大多比较老旧。但是因为地理位置方便，所以也比较受到华人的欢迎。
哈岗以 Puente Hills Mall 而闻名，该购物中心曾是斯皮尔伯格的著名电影“回到未来”的拍摄地。哈岗的西来寺也非常有名，它是南加州地区最大的佛教寺庙。该寺占地61000平米，建筑面积9516.2平米。寺内拥有大量的中国明代和清代风格建筑、中式花园和许多古老的中国寺院的雕像。西来寺为那些有兴趣学习佛教和中国文化的人提供了一个宗教和文化的中心。
哈岗的中小学教育属于哈岗拉朋地联合学区（Hacienda La Puente Unified School District）管辖。该学区内的高中包括：Los Altos）高中、Glen A. Wilson高中和Valley Alternative高中。初中包括：Newton中学和Orange Grove中学等；小学包括：Bixby小学、Grazide小学、Los Altos小学、Los Molinos小学、Los Robles私立学校、棕榈树小学、Wedgeworth小学、Shadybend小学、Kwis小学等。
